“Easy Money?” is a game that explores the trade-off between player progression and score accumulation. As the game progresses, the stakes increase and one wrong step could see you lose everything. You always have the option to take the money and run, but will you be prepared to take it?
“Easy Money?” draws heavily on techniques based around procedural content generation to create rich and interesting environments on the fly, so no two games are ever the same. Equally, we use AI techniques to ensure that difficulty is scaled appropriately and that the spaces the player will see give them a solid enjoyable experience.
We will shortly be entering public testing for “Easy Money?” – stay tuned to the blog for more info.
“Redshirt” from UK-based developer “The Tiniest Shark” has been an excellent opportunity for ROG to flex our contracting muscles. A developer blog on the work we undertook on Redshirt will be written in the next few days discussing the AI challenges the game presents and the techniques we used to tackle them. In the meantime, you can learn more about the game by watching the first developer diary released by The Tiniest Shark’s Mitu Khandaker.
